Dear Friends,

Sunday afternoon, with the enthusiasm of so many of our supporters, we launched the “Power of the Purse.”  Throughout the past nine months, Jari has heard from thousands of women who want to help in her campaign for governor, but they aren’t sure how to get involved.

What is POP?

“Power of the Purse”, or POP for short, is a group of women who know the power of working and giving to help other women succeed.

In today’s political environment, any successful campaign for political office requires dedicated individuals who participate in the campaign process by dedicating their time and financial resources to support their candidate.  POP gives women a forum to support Jari Askins to be our next governor of the great state of Oklahoma!

Why Women?

So many women come together to support issues and work for causes and candidates they believe in.  Women have natural networks in their lives through friendships, family, churches, charities, work, and social groups.   POP is a network that helps women find the resources they need to help spread the word about and raise money for Jari’s campaign.
