Join the Change Makers

change-makers-logo1Dear Friends,

It’s just a fact that every campaign must dedicate a lot of energy to fundraising; to hire staff, put ads on television, and run aggressive field campaigns. Most depend on huge contributions from wealthy donors in the state, and from around the country.

But in our last financial quarter you helped us prove that ordinary Oklahomans could make a difference.

In the last 3 days of the quarter we received just under 100 $26 contributions from Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace friends like you.

I can’t begin to describe how meaningful it is to see the investment you’ve made in our message about Oklahoma’s future.

To date, we’ve had hundreds of early supporters donate under $100. This has energized us even further to connect with our strong online community that we know can make a difference.

Today, with your help, we are launching the Change Makers.

Most of us have a big jar of change sitting on a dresser or in a shelf. We’re hoping you can help us find 10 of your friends who are excited to cash in $5, $10, or whatever they have in their change jar for a better Oklahoma. With you as our advocates, I know we can make even more friends and make the Change Makers the most powerful part of our campaign.

Join the¬†Change Makers today by emailing our staff. We’ll send you all of the details you need to stay organized and introduce us to 10 of your friends.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Jari

Please let Jari know that even though I live in Dallas, I am “rooting” for her to make it all the way. The insurance company I work for has an office in OKC – Globe Life Insurance – I work for the Torchmark Corporation – in the legal department – and one of our attorneys in OKC – Brian Mitchell – is quite interested in Jari’s campaign. He and his wife are very active in OKC and he is always asking me how Jari is doing. I work with a lot of people who are from Oklahoma – and still have family there. So, I am trying to get the word out what a great person she is. I would love to have some bumper stickers to hand out and will gladly pay for them. Let me know how to do this and I will support Jari the best I can (even though I am a Texan now ! Thanks for all you are doing!

Thanks for the Christmas card–I missed Jarita’s smiling face, and I know your family Christmas was different this year. I am ready for signs & bumper stickers if they are available . We have several places we can put out large signs. Thanks for all you do. Is this a Great State or What! Gayle Johnson, Duke
